Physical, enzymatic and chemical methods were used to develop an efficient procedure for preparing gelatine hydrogels of appropriate strength and elastic properties for applications as enzyme carriers. The concentrations of the crosslinking enzyme (transglutaminase), the initial amount of gelatine, the production time and the effect of additional crosslinking with glutaraldehyde were examined. As a result, the following conditions were selected: 0.1 g cm?3 solution of gelatine, 0.01 g cm?3 of transglutaminase (mTGase), a minimum of 2 h incubation at 4°C and an additional step of crosslinking with 1.0 vol. % of glutaraldehyde. Next, the absorption properties and storage stability of hydrogels so obtained were determined. From these results, it was observed that, with the exception of the physical gel, the remaining materials presented a relatively high resistance to hydrolytic degradation and retained their original spatial structure without any visible damages. The immobilisation experiments indicated gelatine-based hydrogels crosslinked with transglutaminase as suitable for use as matrices for the entrapment of enzymes, which catalyse the conversion of low-molecular mass compounds. In addition to the potential for effective re-use in subsequent batch processes, the essential advantage of the immobilised β-galactosidase obtained in the current study is a marked reduction in its volume under storage conditions of long duration, without any significant decline in catalytic activity. 相似文献

Alkylzinc aminoalcoholates have emerged as powerful catalysts in organic synthesis and polymerization processes. Despite extensive research, difficulties in the rational design of these catalytic systems and in-depth understanding of their modes of action have hitherto been encountered. Most of the major obstacles stem largely from the relatively limited knowledge of the structure-activity relationship of zinc catalysts. In fact, the key active species are often generated in situ via the protonolysis of the alkylzinc precursors, which precludes their isolation and detailed characterization. Herein, the effectiveness of the oxygenation over the classical protonolysis in the synthesis of zinc alkylperoxides stabilized by an aminoalcoholate ligand is demonstrated. The controlled oxygenation of a tert-butylzinc complex incorporating a pridinolum (prinol) ligand leads to well-defined a dinuclear adduct of a (prinol)ZnOOtBu moiety with the parent tBuZn(prinol) complex and a novel dimer [tBuOOZn(prinol)]2 with terminal alkylperoxide groups. The observed reaction outcomes strongly depend on the reaction conditions. Although sparse examples of heteroleptic adducts of the [RZn(L)]x[ROOZn(L)]y-type are known, the herein reported homoleptic [ROOZn(L)]x aggregate is unprecedented. Strikingly, comparative studies involving reactions between tBuZn(prinol) and tert-butylhydroperoxide or ethanol revealed that the respective seemingly simple zinc alkylperoxides, or zinc alkoxides, respectively, are not accessible via the classical alcoholysis. We believe that these game-changing results concerning multifaceted chemistry of organozinc aminoalcoholates should pave the way for more rational development of various Zn-based catalytic systems. 相似文献

Spatially resolved functionalization of 2D materials is highly demanded but very challenging to achieve. The chemical patterning is typically tackled by preventing contact between the reagent and material, which brings various accompanying challenges. Photochemical transformation on the other hand inherently provides remote high spatiotemporal resolution using the cleanest reagent—a photon. Herein, we combine two competing reactions on a graphene substrate to create functionalization patterns on a micrometer scale via the Mitsunobu reaction. The mild reaction conditions allow introduction of covalently dynamic linkages, which can serve as reversible labels for surface‐ or graphene‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy characterization of the patterns prepared. The proposed methodology thus provides a pathway for local introduction of arbitrary functional groups on graphene. 相似文献

Photodegradation of the oximes of alkyl-2-, -3-, and -4-pyridylketones and identification of possible degradation products using LC–MS/MS and GC–MS techniques were performed. The influence of copper(II) and iron(III) ions on the stability of the oxime under UV–Vis radiation exposure were also studied. It was found that the photodegradation of the pyridylketoximes resulted in the photoisomerization, photofragmentation and photosubstitution to a pyridine ring. Simple RZnOR’ alkoxides are among the first known organozinc compounds, and widespread interest in their multifaced chemistry has been driven by their fundamental significance and potential applications including various catalytic reactions. Nevertheless, their chemistry in solution and in the solid state remains both relatively poorly understood and a subject of constant debate. Herein, the synthesis and structural characterization of long-sought structural forms, a roof-like trimer [(tBuZn)3(μ-OC(H)Ph2)2(μ3-OC(H)Ph2)] and a ladder-type tetramer [(PhZn)4(μ-OC(H)Ph2)2(μ3-OC(H)Ph2)2], incorporating diphenylmethanolate as a model alkoxide ligand, are reported. Both novel aggregates are robust in the solid state and resistant towards mechanical force. By using 1H NMR and diffusion-order spectroscopy, it is demonstrated that new RZnOR’ alkoxides are kinetically labile in solution and readily undergo ligand scrambling, such as in the case of Schlenk equilibrium. The elucidated key structural issues, which have remained undiscovered for decades, significantly advance the chemistry of RZnOR’ alkoxides and should support the rational design of zinc alkoxide-based applications. 相似文献

The aim of this work was to obtain an inorganic oxide system containing silica and magnesium oxide, and characterized by specific physicochemical properties, in particular well-defined adsorption parameters. The preparation process was carried out according to a co-precipitation method using solutions of sodium silicate and selected inorganic magnesium salt. The oxide system obtained (MgO·SiO2) was used as a support (adsorbent) of nickel(II) ions, whose precursors were model solutions of nitrates. The effectiveness of the adsorption process was evaluated using many different analytical techniques, including atomic absorption spectroscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and equivalent point titration. Moreover the stability of adsorbent/adsorbate bonding was estimated. The oxide systems—adsorbents—used in the process were also analyzed according to their physicochemical properties, especially changes in adsorption parameters. The last part of the study involved evaluation of the kinetics of the adsorption process depending on time and the pH of the reaction system. 相似文献

Core–shell‐structured mesoporous silica spheres were prepared by using n‐octadecyltrimethoxysilane (C18TMS) as the surfactant. Hollow mesoporous carbon spheres with controllable diameters were fabricated from core–shell‐structured mesoporous silica sphere templates by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). By controlling the thickness of the silica shell, hollow carbon spheres (HCSs) with different diameters can be obtained. The use of ethylene as the carbon precursor in the CVD process produces the materials in a single step without the need to remove the surfactant. The mechanism of formation and the role played by the surfactant, C18TMS, are investigated. The materials have large potential in double‐layer supercapacitors, and their electrochemical properties were determined. HCSs with thicker mesoporous shells possess a larger surface area, which in turn increases their electrochemical capacitance. The samples prepared at a lower temperature also exhibit increased capacitance as a result of the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) area and larger pore size. 相似文献
